Meet Your Speakers

Jackie Zuker is a Data Scientist, Data Enthusiast, and Director of Data Products at Employers Insurance - America’s small business insurance specialist. She has worked to analyze and derive insights from data in a number of industries including wildlife biology, gaming, a search engine, and insurance. She holds a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a degree in Biology with a minor in Physics from The University of California, Santa Cruz. Jackie’s favorite activities include expanding what is thought to be possible, whether it’s delivering new capabilities to an organization, or engineering new approaches to old problems. She organizes a fun and welcoming group called Big Data and Brews in the Reno area, which in non-COVID times gathers folks at various breweries to discuss data and data-science related topics.
